A longtime dreamer of becoming a content creator, Lucy was stunned by the response.

Since starting content and using her platform, Lucy has used her platform to be a role model for young girls like her, championing self-love and body confidence as a plus-size creator where she creates relatable fashion/beauty and lifestyle content. How do you stay authentic while creating content for social media?

Letting my own personality take control of my content, staying true to myself and not trying to act like somebody I’m not. I listen to my followers and what they want to see most of the time rather than just following other ideas.

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?

Boiling, bubbly bath, glass of wine, skin care, reality TV and cute matching pyjamas!

What type of content do you enjoy creating the most for social media?

I have always loved makeup since a young age, filming GRWM’s allows me to embrace myself through creative makeup and I love music so get ready with me videos are always my favourite to incorporate all of those factors. I also love fashion and vlog style videos!

What’s a fun fact about you that always surprises people?

Usually that I have a girlfriend! I guess I look like a straight girl. And that I was in a short film for my Uncle's company was I was younger and my Dad was on 'Tipping Point' (I’ve got a long list).

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone trying to grow their social media following?

Stay consistent and true to yourself, don’t let the followers/fame get to your head. Keep doing what you love and be different (people like different)!
